I believe in one God, the Father Almighty. He made all things visible and invisible and created heaven and earth in six days of 24 hours. God created man in his own image; male and female He created them.
-
I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages, true God of true God, begotten, not made, of one substance with the Father. Through Him all things were made.

Humanity was created in the image of God, giving humanity dignity and worth. Humanity rebelled against God, though, falling short of God's expectations. Everyone, then, is, in and of his own nature, totally unable to do any good and inclined to all evil, and thus is deserving of God's righteous judgment. As such, humanity is broken and in need of redemption.

For us men and our salvation, the Lord Jesus Christ came down from heaven and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary and was made man. The Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. Jesus Christ died on the cross as sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures; rose bodily from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven where He now sits as our High Priest and Advocate at the right hand of the Father.
-
Jesus' death and resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who repent and believe. In order to receive forgiveness and the ’new birth' we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
-
He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead and establish his eternal kingdom. Then those who believe will live with God forever while unbelievers will be eternally separated from Him.
-
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified; who spoke through the prophets; who convicts humanity of their sinfulness, regenerates the believing sinner, indwells, guides, instructs, intercedes for, and empowers believers to bear the fruit of the Spirit for God's glory and service to others.
-
God is known by the creation, preservation, and government of the universe, which is before our eyes as a most beautiful book, wherein all creatures, great and small, are as so many letters leading us to perceive clearly God's invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature. All these things are sufficient to convict men and leave them without excuse.
-
He makes Himself more clearly and fully known to us by His holy and divine Word, the Bible, which is inspired by the Holy Spirit, infallible and inerrant, having divine authority on all matters that it addresses. The Lord Jesus Christ is the central focus of all Scripture.
-
In the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's supper, the promise of God is even closer brought to our hearts, namely the promise that everyone who trusts in the Lord Jesus Christ surely participates in His atonement, receives the forgiveness of sins and is accepted by God. Both sacraments are observed by the Church, but they are not, in and of themselves, means of salvation.
-
I believe one holy universal Church, which is gathered by the Lord Jesus Christ. This Church is a holy congregation and assembly of all people who trust Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and seek to live according to His ways.
-
The local church exists as an expression of the universal Church to exalt God, edify believers, and engage the world with the Gospel.
